Microsoft® WebsiteSpark™ is designed to ignite the success of professional Web developers and designers.
The program provides the software, support, and business opportunities, including marketing visibility and connections with partners (including Web
Hosters) and customers around the world.

Once enrolled, the following software can be downloaded from Microsoft:
For design, development, testing and demonstration of new websites – for a total of up to three
users per Web design and development company:
Visual Studio Professional Expression Studio 3 (1 user) and Expression Web 3 (up to 2 users)
Windows Web Server 2008 R2
SQL Server 2008 Web Edition
For production use – to deploy and host new Web sites developed using Program software –
using a total of up to four processors per Web design and development company, of the following (physical or virtual) dedicated servers:

Eligibility Requirements
An eligible Web design and development company must have the following characteristics at the time of joining:
A professional service firm whose primary business is providing Web development and design services for its clients, with:
No more than 10 members (including owners and employees).
In addition: To be eligible to continue to participate in the Program, the company must complete the following steps within 6 months after Program
enrollment:
Deploy a new public and Internet-accessible Web site developed using Program software
Deploy that Web site on Windows Server (on a Hosting Server or with a Hosting Partner)
Report it and other new Web sites through the WebsiteSpark Portal.
Terms
Eligible Web development and design companies can participate in WebsiteSpark for up to three years. On the first and second anniversary of
initial enrollment, they must update their enrollment by confirming they haven't gone public and their ownership hasn't changed.
Costs and fees
There is no upfront cost to join WebsiteSpark or receive its benefits. A USD $100 program offering fee is due when the Web development or design
company exits the program. Beyond this program offering fee, there are no other costs required to participate in this program.
A Web Pro will have NO obligation to pay the program offering fee if it affirmatively elects to end its participation in the
program within the first six months after program enrollment. To terminate its enrollment, a Web Pro must notify
WebsiteSpark in writing at least 15 days before its six-month anniversary.
