Microsoft Innovation Centers: High-tech support for high-tech professionals
The Microsoft® Innovation Centers (MICs)are facilities that provide resources for software developers, IT professionals, university students, academics and entrepreneurs. This network of 100 centers in 40 countries helps local software professionals & organizations with training, employment programs, mentoring, networking opportunities for business development & customer acquisition & more.

The Microsoft Innovation Centers are jointly operated by Microsoft and local organizations such as government agencies, universities, industry associations and Microsoft partners.
About 50% of the MICs around the world are hosted at universities, 20% in government facilities, and 30% between industry associations and Microsoft partners.

MICs around the world share best practices and collaborate through coordinated discussion groups, monthly best practice sharing sessions, international and regional summits, peer mentoring, and shared projects. Participants also get access to training, support, events and resources. |
